Built in 1964, the original Mayfair Hotel was transformed into a luxury European style Boutique hotel in 1984 by Owner Eleni Skalbania.

Since then the hotel has undergone three major renovations to keep pace with ever changing tastes and demands. “It comes down to refinement” says Eleni, “making sure our guests have the best.”
Ideally situated amidst the gardens and waterfalls of fashionable Robson Square in the heart of Vancouver's thriving, cosmopolitan downtown, the Wedgewood has become a landmark.

The abundance of flowers, fine antique pieces and original works of art characterize the eighty-three rooms and suites. Bacchus, the award winning restaurant and bar, offers a truly unique experience.
Key features of the hotel is Eleni's persistent attention to detail. Such that the Wedgewood has become an intimate oasis in the heart of Vancouver.

The hotel has received numerous awards over the years, both for its Bacchus Bar & Restaurant (best bar in Vancouver for the past nine years), along with the hotel being rated one of the best hotels in North America by key publications such as Condé Nast and Travel & Leisure. |
